Mark Sakamoto

MARK SAKAMOTO is the author of Forgiveness, A Gift from My Grandparents published by HarperCollins in June 2014. Mark is a lawyer by training and has enjoyed a rich and varied career. He has worked at a national law firm, a national broadcaster and has served as a senior political advisor to a national party leader. He is an entrepreneur and investor in digital health, digital media and real estate. He sits on the Board of the Ontario Media Development Corporation. Sakamoto lives in Toronto with his wife and two children.

CANADA READS 2018


The Canada Reads 2018 debates take place  March 26-29. CBC’s 17th edition of CANADA READS will be hosted by CBC Laugh Out Loud’s Ali Hassan. Tickets to the live event in the CBC building in Toronto are available here. The three-day Canada Reads 2018 finale takes place March 26-29 and will be broadcast across CBC platforms.
